For this WAVE, the artist ATB enacted THE ENDS in support of Old Friends, a thoroughbred retirement farm located in the heart of the Bluegrass.

THE ENDS is a philanthropic context in which half the value of the last WORK sold is donated to support a cause.

This iteration of THE ENDS totaled between $4.50 and $4,608 for WORKS 1 through 11. If WORK 12 was sold, however, Old Friends would have received $18,432 — the full value of the final WORK.

WORK 8 was the last to sell for $1,152 resulting in a $576 donation to Old Friends.

Proceeds provided hay, feed, paddock maintenance, and health services to legendary racers like 1997 Kentucky Derby Winner Silver Charm.

In the last few hours of the WAVE — on Saturday, 05/11/2024 — the artist ATB and luxury hotel, The Manchester, hosted a UNTIL THE END OF TIME, a SOULED art party on its rooftop terrace.
